If you're looking for an affordable way to be able to carry around your bikes, still get those premium features and have a ramp included, and not sold separately, that's where the Yakima OnRamp comes in handy. Now most bike racks are gonna have a little bit of a clearance issue with a Thor Challenger, so we're also going to give you some dimensions and measurements to help you figure out what works best for you, as well as gives you solutions for what will make things work better. Now the first thing I'd like to talk about is just gonna be your clearances between the bike, as well as your motor home. So a big thing to look at is your handlebar. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Thor Challenger Motorhome Y87VR- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Yakima StageTwo Two Bike Platform Rack and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2023 Thor Challenger. The StageTwo is gonna be great if you're looking for a bike rack that has a lot of weight capacity, as well as has an offset design so that you have a better fit on the back of your motor home. Now because of where the hitch is on your motor home, a lot of bike racks will have clearance issues. So I'm gonna give you some measurements here in this video just so that you can see if maybe you may need a hitch extender for your bikes, especially bikes with long handlebars. That will be our first measurement. Four year bikes with long handlebars, I measure from the center of the cradle to the closest point on the motor home. more

Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Thor Miramar Motorhome- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris MHS Two Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2020 Thor Miramar MotorHome. Now this is going to be a platform style bike rack that is approved for motorhome use and can also hold 80 pound E-bikes. That's gonna be on the upper end of what a bike rack can handle so if you've got a heavy E-bike this could be a great way to carry it on your motorhome. You are gonna run into an issue though, specifically on your Miramar with clearances, and this is gonna be true for really any bike rack that you put in here that's of this platform style. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Rack Sport Rider SE and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2020 Thor Miramar Motor Home. Now this is going to be a platform style bike rack designed for motor home use, but also for use with e-bikes. It can carry up to 80 pounds per bike, which is going to be at the upper end of what a bike rack can carry, especially for on the motor home side of things. So you can trust that your bike's going to be in there solid and secure. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination Four Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2020 Thor Miramar Motorhome. Now this is gonna be a platform style bike rack that is motor home approved. That's important to know because there is gonna be extra shock and vibration at the back of your motor home compared to a typical passenger vehicle. And it's important to get a bike rack that's built to spec. Now the Destination is going to be, like I said, at four bike racks, so you can, in theory, carry up to four bikes with this each up to 35 pounds. more

So, if you're looking to carry around some extra heavy bikes, you're gonna need an extra heavy-duty rack. This has a 70-pound weight capacity, which is very impressive. Plus, it is rated for motorhomes. This bike rack is gonna be sitting pretty far back, so there's gonna be a lot of road movement. Fortunately, it comes with RV hardware that really tightens down on that rack and makes sure that you have a sturdy ride no matter where you're going. more

Because you're gonna be experiencing a greater amount of shock and vibration at the back of your motorhome compared to a typical passenger vehicle. And the E-Spec is definitely built to spec. CURT Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Thor Miramar Motorhome- Video
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt Premium hanging style bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2018 Thor Miramar Motorhome. Now, with this hanging style bike rack, it's gonna be able to carry up to four bikes and it's gonna hold them by the frame hanging down below these arms. And before we get any further, I do want to say right off the bat, I wouldn't recommend this bike rack for this particular motorhome. There's a lot of clearance issues that I wanna show you in this video so you know what you're getting into if you do choose this bike rack. more

Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Thor Coleman Motorhome- Video

So the current premium is what I consider one of the most family friendly bike racks. Hi everyone, it's Evie Angeline here at etrailer. And today we'll be taking a look at our Swagman E-Spec two bike rack right here on our 2020 Thor Coleman motorhome. So the Swagman E-Spec is a really good bike rack when it comes to how you can carry your electric bikes on there with a 70 pounds per bike weight capacity. That's pretty impressive, but we also have a bunch of different features, which add to stability, although not so much for ease of use. So we'll take a look in this video just to see if it's the right fit for you, your bikes and your Coleman motorhome. So first off, I wanna take a look at the way our bike is mounted because usually the first thing we look at is a tilt away, since we're on a motorhome, not gonna be that big of a deal since we don't need to tilt it away. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 thor outlaw motorhome- Video
Colin: Hey everyone, It's Colin here at etrailer. Today we have a 2020 Thor Outlaw motor coach and we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Hitching Post Pro 4 bike rack. This is a hanging style bike rack, so it's going to hold your bikes at the top tube right here. We're going to have a strap on the top tube towards the handlebars, another strap's going to come over the top. We'll show you how to get that installed, you just bring it over the top of the tube and basically when you pull it down you want to make sure it's secure, so this hole matches the notch right here. However, just to make sure we get it secure, we're going to pull it and expand it, and goes right over that notch right there. more
